Good park, some waiting

We bought Billet 2 jours and enjoyed most of our trip. The shows like 'Le Signe du Triomphe' were very well done, great production value. The online booking process was straightforward. However, the queues for some of the restaurants, especially during peak lunch hours, were quite long. We ate at 'L'Écuyer Tranchant' and the food was decent, but it took a while to get it. Overall a positive experience, but they could improve on managing crowd flow for food.

Good value for a day

I was looking for a good deal and snagged a Billet 1 jour with an early booking offer. Saved a decent amount compared to the gate price, which made the trip feel totally worth it. 'Le Premier Royaume' was quite good. For the price I paid, I felt like I got a lot of entertainment. I'd definitely recommend checking for those advance purchase discounts if you're on a budget.

Always a great time

Another fantastic visit to Puy du Fou! We bought Billet 2 jours again, just like last year. The experience was consistently amazing; the shows like 'Les Vikings' and 'Le Secret de la Lance' were as captivating as I remembered. Booking online was smooth, as usual. It's why we keep coming back.

Fun day out

My family and I went to Puy du Fou last month. We got the Billet 1 jour. It was a really fun day, way better than I thought. The kids loved 'Le Bal des Oiseaux Fantômes'. Ordering tickets was easy enough on their site, no fuss. We even stayed for 'Les Noces de Feu' and that was pretty cool too.

Absolutely brilliant!

Puy du Fou is incredible! I visited last week and it exceeded all expectations. 'Le Mime et l'Étoile' was absolutely breathtaking, seriously a masterpiece. I purchased a Billet 3 jours, and it was perfect to see everything without rushing. I'm already planning my next trip; I'm telling everyone they have to go!

Detailed review of my visit

My recent visit involved a Billet 4 jours and a stay at Hôtel La Villa Gallo-Romaine. Booking the tickets and hotel package online was quite smooth, the confirmation emails arrived promptly. Check-in at the hotel was efficient, and the room was clean and well-maintained, though the decor was a bit dated. Inside the park, the 'Pass Emotion' worked perfectly for skipping lines, which was a lifesaver for popular shows like 'Les Mousquetaires de Richelieu'. We also tried 'Banquet de Mérovée'; the food was thematic but fairly standard. Customer service was helpful when I had a small question about show times. Getting around the park was easy enough with the maps. My main observation was that some of the food stalls had limited vegetarian options, which might be a small concern for future visitors. Overall, a very comprehensive and well-organized experience.

What's the deal with the Cinéscénie? Is that included with the regular park ticket or is it separate?

P Paul P. 4 weeks ago
Cinéscénie is totally separate and super hard to get tickets for! Book that way, way, WAY ahead of time if you want to see it.

S Sean P. 3 weeks ago
Nah, it's not included with the Grand Parc entry. You gotta buy specific tickets for it. It's a whole other show at night, so worth it though.

Are the on-site hotels worth it? Or is it better to just stay somewhere else and drive in every day?

D Donna Phillips 1 week ago
I stayed at one of the on-site hotels, La Citadelle, and it was pretty cool. Super convenient to just walk to the park and get a head start on the crowds. Felt very immersive.

Depends on your budget. They are neat and themed but can be pricey. If you're on a tighter budget, there are plenty of options nearby, but you'll need a car or taxi.

Hey guys, thinking of going to Puy du Fou. How many days would you say is enough to see everything without rushing?

E Emma Turner 2 days ago
Definitely at least 2 days for the main park shows. Trying to do it all in one day is just crazy.

M Michael J. 2 days ago
I'd say 3 days if you want to catch all the shows and explore the villages properly. Plus if you stay on-site, you can spread it out a bit more.

Is it easy to get a discount? I'm planning to book tickets for next summer, maybe for like 4 people.

R Robert P. 2 days ago
Yeah, usually if you book way in advance, like a few months out, you get a pretty decent discount. I think it was like 15-20% when I went.

Just make sure it's dated tickets! They almost always have early bird deals for those. Not really coupon codes, just automatically applied when you pick your dates far out.

How does Puy du Fou compare to like, Disneyland Paris? Is it a totally different vibe or kinda similar?

O Olivia 4 weeks ago
Totally different vibe. Disneyland is rides and characters. Puy du Fou is all about historical shows and really detailed villages. No rides here, just epic spectacles.

R Richard Miller 4 weeks ago
Yeah, if you're looking for rollercoasters, this isn't it. It's more like going to a bunch of live theater productions that are absolutely huge scale. Think less 'theme park' and more 'historical immersion park'.
